Mairehau's Merrylicious Market
For the last term us year 9s and 10s have been working on our projects for our Mairehau Merrylicious Market.
Sophie and I decided to make canvases with Christmas pictures on them and Christmas hollies (leaves and three balloons which people can hang up on their wall.)
They didn't really sell that good, but mistakes happen and for next year I will now
know not to do them because they didn't really sell.
I think they didn't sell very well because they had cost a lot to get the supplies so we needed to sell them for more then we brought them for to get profit and the price was a bit high for customers. Another reason I think they didn't sell was because we had blown up the balloons earlier that day so they had deflated and didn't look that good.
For next year I think we could get some ideas from what sold good in the market this year and maybe make stuff kinda different so then it doesn't look like we copied the idea.
Overall I had a great time making the canvases and our projects even though they didn't sell it was fun and I cant wait to do it next year and make even better projects than I did this year.
